Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2018 enrollment to the Post-Baccalaureate Program in Psychology and Social Behavior. This program is designed for people with a bachelor’s degree in any field who are seeking preparation for graduate school in psychology or related fields, and for people seeking career development or career change. The program consists of eight courses, includes hands-on experience in research laboratory and internship settings, and can be completed at your own pace.

Spit Camp provides an open forum environment, scientific lectures, and carefully constructed hands-on lab experiments, in which you will learn both basic and advanced strategies for incorporating saliva into your research. Gain practical knowledge/experience in salivary bioscience, while building relationships, collaborations, sharing ideas and getting valuable feedback. At Spit Camp, you will become a confident salivary bioscience researcher, capable of using saliva analysis to increase value and overall impact of your research.
Faculty, post-doctoral scholars, fellows and graduate students are invited to join us for Spit Camp 1, a two-day workshop program designed to teach both basic and advanced strategies for incorporating saliva into your research. Participants gain practical knowledge and experience in salivary bioscience, while building relationships, collaborations, sharing ideas and getting valuable feedback.
This session will have an optional third day focusing on preanalytic data processing and basic statistical approaches for salivary biomeasure data.
Lectures and discussions are led by Professor Douglas Granger and laboratory activities are led by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Salivary Bioscience Research (IISBR) lab team.
