The Ensure Justice 2026 conference aims to equip attendees with practical tools and evidence-based strategies to protect youth and elevate youth justice. Presented by Vanguard University's Global Center for Women and Justice (GCWJ), the conference this year is themed, "Resilient & Ready: Supporting Youth to Stand, Speak and Lead."
Across plenaries, panels and targeted workshops, attendees will hear from leading researchers, practitioners and youth themselves -- and then leave with resources that can be used right away in classrooms, families, congregations and communities.
The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
UC Irvine Professor of psychology Jodi Quas is part of the "What Is the Problem?" panel that is scheduled from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Joining her are Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes, County of Orange Social Services Agency Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Coordinator Lisa Delamater and Orange County Superintendent of Schools Stefan Bean.
