Nick Marantz, assistant professor of urban planning and public policy, is quoted in The Orange County Register about population density in Orange County, stating that “the Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan area has a pretty uniform level of density, whereas a lot of major metropolitan areas have a much steeper density gradient."
