Making the most of these opportunities calls for scholarship that is rigorous and innovative, thoughtful and engaged—scholarship that is steeped in the best traditions of social science, and able to break new ground.

Dissemination & Implementation Conference Workshop

The UC Irvine Institute for Clinical and Translational Science's Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Unit presents a workshop to provide expert feedback and advice for graduate students and faculty interested in submitting an abstract to the 18th annual Conference on the Science of Dissemination and Implementation in Health.

Academy Health and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) host the conference Dec. 14-17, 2025, in National Harbor, MD. The event, whose theme is "Realizing the Benefits of Dissemination and Implementation Science," will explore success stories, methodological advances, challenges, and opportunities to realize the benefits of our science across health care, community, and public health systems. The conference supports the collective understanding of the research agenda, puts forth new findings, and identifies research priorities to set the field up for the next decade.

Abstract submission deadline: Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

Attendees at the ICTS virtual workshop will receive advice and guidance on submitting to the D&I Conference and presenting D&I work. The ICTS D&I Unit will also provide feedback on D&I abstracts that are in progress.
