The UC Irvine Psychological Science Post-Baccalaureate Program hosts the first of two career panels in Spring 2025.

All are welcome as prospective students learn more about graduate school and career paths from clinical psychologists at Career Panel #1.

The following panelists have Ph.D.s or Psy.D.s in clinical or counseling psychology:

  • Amir Ramezani, Ph.D. in clinical psychology
  • Sonia Lindner, Ph.D. in counseling psychology
  • Brittnae Stallworth, Psy.D. in applied clinical psychology
  • Sahra Kim, Psy.D. in clinical psychology

Diversifying Clinical Psychology Weekend

Thinking about a Ph.D. in clinical psychology? Spend a day learning about clinical psychology doctorate programs. You'll learn the application process, meet current UC Irvine clinical psychology students and faculty and gain feedback on the application process.

Participants must apply by 11:59 p.m. PDT April 18 and then be selected to attend. 

Eligibility includes:

  • an interest in applying to research-based clinical psychology programs
  • a background or experience that contributes to diversity and equal opportunity in the clinical psychology field
  • an ability to attend the event in-person at UC Irvine or remotely via Zoom

You're invited to this special discussion, ‘How to Talk with Legislators,” led by California State Senator Josh Newman, School of Social Ecology senior fellow. 

Speaking from his experience as a legislator, Newman will share tips around how to best share your research topics and findings with elected officials, how your research can inform CA state assembly and senate bills and will answer questions.
