Faculty trio participate in this year's virtual homecoming events

Keramet Reiter, associate professor of criminology, law and society, Daniel Stokols, Chancellor’s Professor emeritus of psychological science and urban planning and public policy, and Raymond Novaco, professor of psychological science, are taking part in this year's UCI Stay@HOMEcoming Feb. 26-27.

Reiter will be a featured speaker Feb. 26 at 11:15 a.m. She will present: “California Prisons and the Promise of Education for Anyone from Anywhere.” Reiter is director of UCI LIFTED (Leveraging Inspiring Futures Through Educational Degrees), a new initiative that gives a pathway for students who are incarcerated to transfer from a community college to UCI to earn their bachelor’s degree. Stokols and Novaco will host “Office Hours” Feb. 27 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Alumni and community members are invited to register and chat with the popular professors at the virtual session.
