CBS2 interviewed Jessica Borelli, associate professor of psychological science at UCI, who says she's never had a client turn on her but knows it can happen.
"The reality is that there is a risk. There's a risk when you are in any profession when you are interacting with people."
Professor Borelli hopes this doesn't deter anyone who wants to study psychology.
