Making the case that immigration doesn't cause crime

 

The evidence pointed to a definitive conclusion: immigration does not cause an increase in crime. But the world doesn't seem to be listening, says Charis Kubrin, a professor of criminology, law and society who published a landmark meta-analysis on immigration and crime.

"It just feels like trying to patch up a dam with a little Band-Aid," Kubrin told Knowable Magazine. "It’s so difficult to get public perception to turn on this."
