POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a one year, 50% appointment as an Assistant Specialist. Anticipated appointment dates are August 1, 2022-July 31, 2023. 

Candidates are sought to work on a study of cascading collective traumas (e.g., the war in Ukraine, COVID-19 pandemic) and their aftermath. A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field is required. Prior work in disaster mental health is highly recommended. Previous experience managing large datasets is required. Expertise in multi-level modeling, weighting population-based samples from complex longitudinal surveys, and experience with STATA are strongly preferred.
