Study Finds Room Design Can Affect Patients

Julka Almquist, Ph.D. student in the Department of Planning Policy and Design, recently co-author "Consultation room design and the clinical encounter - the Space and Interaction Randomized Trial," in Health Environments Research and Design Journal. The study found that the design of a consultation room can improve the quality of an outpatient visit.
