Elizabeth Martin, assistant professor of psychological science, has been designated a Rising Star by the Association of Psychological Science for her innovative work and potential for future contributions to the field.

Martin researches emotional and social difficulties in those with, and at risk for, psychotic disorders (e.g., schizophrenia). Using self-reports, behavioral tasks, and psychophysiology, she explores the underlying mechanisms that may cause these difficulties, with the hope of identifying opportunities for prevention and intervention.
