Peter Ditto, professor of psychological science, co-authored an article in Scientific American about how intense images can remind people abut the dangers of Covid-19. The article states that "images are visceral reminders of the pandemic’s dangers, revealing unsettling events behind closed doors, showing us suffering’s human face."
