Borelli honored with Bowlby-Ainsworth Award

Jessica Borelli, associate professor of psychological science, was selected to receive the Bowlby-Ainsworth Award for her contributions to research at the interface of attachment emotion regulation and well-being and for illustrating the relevance of attachment insights to modern issues through popular media.

The Bowlby-Ainsworth Award recipients are selected by the Awards Committee of the Center for Mental Health Promotion and The New York Consortium, in consultation with distinguished colleagues from several continents.

Borelli is a clinical psychologist specializing in the field of developmental psychopathology; her research focuses on the links between close relationships, emotions, health, and development, with a particular focus on risk for anxiety and depression.
