Psychology Post-Baccalaureate Career Panel

Psychology Professor of Teaching Joanne Zingers host a career panel featuring UC Irvine Psychology Post-Baccalaureate Program alumni who have successfully been accepted into master’s or doctoral programs. These panelists can talk about their experiences with applications, the GREs and/or the interview process).

The following alumni will be speaking:

1. Dr. Ramona Martinez (Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from UC Riverside; currently works as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Cal State Long Beach)
2. Dr. Jessenia De Leon (MSW & Ph.D. in Social Work from USC; currently works Executive Director of the Uplift Youth Foundation and an adjunct professor at Irvine Valley College)
3. Dr. Josie Pijpaert (Ph.D. in Couples & Family Therapy from Alliant; currently woks as a transformative couples therapy research clinician at Transformative Couples Therapy Institute)
4. Laura Brownstein (MA in Marriage & Family Therapy from Pepperdine University; currently works as the Clinical Training & Professional Development Coordinator and as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University - while also running her own private practice as a licensed marriage & family therapist)
5. Sono Lee (1st-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at UC Irvine)
6. Ghazal Naderi (1-year Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at UC Irvine).

Although this panel was organized specifically for the students in the UC Irvine Psychology Post-Bacc Program, all are welcome! (But please RSVP.)
