The UCI Institute for Clinical and Translational Science's Community Health Research Exchange presents Community-Academic Research Presentations by:

-Kate Kuhlman, Ph.D., associate professor of psychological science, and Nazly Restrepo, MSW, associate director of Project Youth OC, on "Predictors of Mental Health Needs and Service Utilization Among Adolescents in the Aftermath of COVID-19."

-Jessica Borelli, Ph.D., professor of psychological science, and Francisca (Nina) Leal*, MD, director of the Chronic Diseases and COVID-19 Department with Latino Health Access, on "Exploring Ways to Post-COVID-19 Resilience in Santa Ana Via Promotora-Led Community Engagement."

Come engage with academic-community research teams to discuss important aspects of partnerships, partnership development for research projects, potential pitfalls to avoid, and managing competing interests. The speakers will discuss their research partnerships within the context of the Campus-Community Research Incubator (CCRI) projects they completed.
