It's been almost a year since Donald Trump won the presidential election, clinching a second term in office. LAist 89.3 FM AirTalk host Larry Mantle and an array of experts look at some of the biggest news stories Orange County has had in recent years and the area's evolving journalism landscape. There will also be a conversation about politics in the OC, a region that's seen a significant shift from red to purple. The panel discusses how changes in the voting diaspora and redistricting have impacted politics and where things could be headed.

Mantle has been the host of AirTalk on LAist (formerly KPCC) since April 1, 1985. It is now the longest continuously running daily talk program in the Los Angeles radio market. A fourth-generation Angeleno, Mantle has interviewed thousands of prominent guests on an extraordinary array of topics, and received many journalistic awards in the process. He grew up in southwest Los Angeles, Inglewood and Hollywood. He's a graduate of Hollywood High School and Vanguard University of Southern California. He and his wife Kristen are the parents of Desmond.
Mantle also hosts the movie review and interview program FilmWeek on AirTalk, heard every Friday at 11 a.m. on LAist 89.3 and Saturday at noon. Meanwhile, Austin Cross hosts AirTalk Fridays, which you can watch live in Instagram @laistofficial.
