Please join us for an informal workshop and brainstorming session on research possibilities and the challenges of working with multi-jurisdictional misdemeanor court data.

Who: Professor Alexandra Natapoff (Law); Professor Emily Owens (Criminology, Law and Society & Economics) and Bradley Bartos (Graduate student, Criminology, Law and Society)
Professor Natapoff will lead off by describing the national misdemeanor dataset she is amassing and her aims in undertaking this endeavor. The discussants will then share thoughts about some of the pragmatic challenges in working with these data, as well as the potential for new lines of research that advance our understanding of mass misdemeanor justice in the U.S. Attendees are encouraged to contribute to the brainstorming conversation.
