Turner receives the Distinguished Scholar Award

Susan Turner, Professor of Criminology, Law & Society has received the 2010 Distinguished Scholar Award from the American Society of Criminology.

Turner's areas of expertise include the design and implementation of randomized field experiments and research collaborations with state and local justice agencies. She is currently assisting the California Department of Corrections in the development and testing of a risk assessment tool as well as an evaluation of a parole violation decision making instrument designed to provide an orderly decision making process for response to violations of parole.
