On October 26, 2010, over 200 campus and community members gathered to celebrate the new Social and Behavioral Sciences Gateway building. Completed in fall 2009, this 78,000 square foot building houses segments of both the School of Social Ecology and School of Social Sciences.
Speakers during the opening program included Chancellor Michael Drake, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Michael Gottfredson, Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Business Services Wendell Brase, Dean of Social Sciences Barbara Dosher, and Dean of Social Ecology Valerie Jenness. After their remarks, guests enjoyed a reception, poster displays, lab demonstrations and building tours.
