Scott A. Bollens, Warmington Chair in Peace and Interpretation and Professor of Policy, Planning and Design, has recently published a book entitled, City and Soul in Divided Societies. The book looks at the nationalistic and ethnic conflict in 9 cities-Jerusalem, Beirut, Belfast, Johannesburg, Nicosia, Sarajevo, Mostar, Bilbao and Barcelona. Bollens spent 17 years researching for the book and conducted over 240 interviews.
