Graduate Student Application Form: Dean's Award for Community Engagement

The School of Social Ecology encourages students to contribute their talents and become active members of the community while pursuing their academic degrees. The Dean’s Award for Community Engagement is open to both undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Social Ecology. See application deadlines listed below.

Criteria:

  • Graduate student applicants will be evaluated based on their research's positive impact (or potential impact) in the community (i.e., local, regional, state, national, or international). Use the form below to apply by April 23, 2018.

Application Process:

  • Summarize your accomplishments in the space given below.
  • Submit a Letter of Support, signed by your professor or a representative from your volunteer organization.

Provide a letter (on official letterhead) from a professor (graduate students), verifying your academic excellence and research impact. Either attach the letter using the link below, or bring a hard copy to the Dean’s Office front desk, located in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Gateway, 5th floor.
