Mireille Jacobson

Mireille Jacobson received her Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and was a National Institute of Mental Health post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Health Care policy at Harvard Medical School before starting at UC-Irvine in July 2002. Professor Jacobson's research focuses broadly on both health and criminal justice policy in the United States. She spent the 2004-5 and 2005-6 academic years as a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of Michigan. She is currently a visiting scholar in Health and Aging at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
