The School of Social Ecology has over 13,000 alumni. The number of students who graduate with a Social Ecology degree increases every year. Last year, the School held two ceremonies –graduating more than 800 students!
Our graduates are applying a multi-disciplinary perspective to the analysis of community problems, ranging from atypical child development to urban design, addressing issues of violence and crime. Some are in public service. Many are influencing social and public policy.
The School of Social Ecology is dedicated to interdisciplinary, problem driven scholarship, teaching, and outreach in the public’s interest. Our unique focus and expertise have made us a national leader in applying basic theory and research to solve complex societal problems.
