Social Ecology faculty pursue knowledge production and dissemination in the service of fostering informed social action as they address issues ranging from crime to prison overcrowding, from gang violence to healthy child development, from health risks to community empowerment. The School of Social Ecology had an opportunity to feature some of its faculty research in a presentation to more than 80 UC Irvine Foundation members and community supporters on September 23, 2010 at the Pacific Club.
