Dean Valerie Jenness welcomes Janice M. Johnson and Joan Kelly to her Dean’s Leadership Council.
Both Janice and Joan have been members of the Planning, Policy and Design Advisory Board. Janice, with her late husband Roger, established the Johnson Endowed Chair in Civic Governance in 1997, which is held by Professor Martha Feldman. Joan Kelly, a recent recipient of the Lauds and Laurels Award, is an alumna of Social Ecology '77, and principal of the environmental firm Bonterra Consulting. Janice and Joan join the other distinguished members of the Council: Hazem Chehabi (Chair), Salma Chehabi '09, Joseph Dunn, Julie Hill, and Jim Peterson.
