The Department of Psychology and Social Behavior and the Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) at the University of California, Irvine invite applications for a tenure track faculty position in clinical neuropsychology and aging at the rank of assistant professor. Ideal candidates will be experts in cognition, cognitive impairment, and psychometrics and would complement other areas of strength within the Department of Psychology and Social Behavior, including developmental psychology, health psychology, affective science, and psychology and the law. We especially welcome applicants with a demonstrated interest and track record of productive research in the area of aging and neurodegenerative disease. High priority will be given to candidates with a track record in Alzheimer’s disease research who can work closely with UCI’s NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Clinical Core. Successful candidates for this position will have an outstanding record of research, evidence of the ability to attract extramural funding, and evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring. Priority will be given to applications received by September 15, 2017; however, applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in psychology, with a specialization in clinical psychology and eligibility for licensure.
