Strauss Endowed Scholarship in Social Ecology
Eligibility:
- School of Social Ecology Major
- Full-time student in junior standing
- Planning to pursue a career in public service
- Minimum 3.5 overall UC GPA
How to Apply:
- Provide an official copy of your UCI transcript
- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation, whichmay include persons outside of the academic institution whocan address your aspirations and accomplishmentsin public service (e.g. teachers, employers, and commpunity representatives)
- Submit a written description of your aspirations and plans for a career in public service

Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award in Honor of Gilbert Geis
Eligibility:
- Criminology, Law and Society major
- Junior or senior standing (90+ units compelted)
- Completed C7 "Introduction to Criminology, Law and Society" and SE10 "Research Design"
- Comlpetion of at least two (2) upper-division Criminology, Law and Society courses
- At least a 3.0 UC GPA
How to Apply:
- Provide an official copy of your UCI transcript
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a Criminology, Law and Society faculty member
- A 3-page, typed paper outlining your research project

Mohan Narasimhan Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Criminology, Law and Society major
- Full-time student with junior standing
- Comlpetion of at least four (4) upper-division Criminology, Law and Society courses
- At least a 3.5 UC GPA
