Important Information

Please submit final (official) copies of transcripts to the UC Irvine Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools as soon as possible. If you were pursuing completion of the IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) it must be completed before classes begin in the fall quarter. You are subject to UC Irvine Breadth (general education) requirements if IGETC is not completed prior to beginning the fall quarter.

Placement Testing

Get your testing done early! Please view the Summer Placement Testing Website for information on placement tests that preceed the SPOP session you wish to attend. Tests take place as early as June and special accomodations can be made to take them in a facility near you! ALL PALCEMENT TESTING MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING ORIENTATION. Contact the UCI Testing Center HERE for general information.

Parking

If you are attending one of our orientation sessions you must purchase a parking permit at an Information Kiosk for $7.00. It is recommended that you park in the Social Sciences Parking Structure. Since parking may be difficult to find please give yourself enough time (approximately 10 - 15 minutes) to park and walk to the Social Ecology I Building.
