| Faculty Lecturers Alumni Ask A Student The Department of Planning, Policy, and Design includes 19 faculty members, approximately 45 master's students, and 35 doctoral students. The department's faculty includes past presidents of the Environmental Design Research Association, the editor of the Journal of Regional Science, and members of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Students in the Master's of Urban and Regional Planning program intern for agencies as diverse as the California Coastal Commission, AIDS Services of Orange County, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The department's alumni hold positions in planning departments, public agencies, private firms, nonprofit organizations, and research universities throughout California and beyond. |
