Social Ecology Mentor Program
The UCI School of Social Ecology Mentor Program engages alumni and students to explore career interests, insights, and experiences in the professional world. This voluntary program is designed to help students learn more about their potential career paths through the experiences of alumni or community members. Students are paired up with a mentor who has experience in Social Ecology and any of its associated fields, such as criminology, psychology, or planning. It is an effective way for mentors and students to learn from one another.
The Social Ecology Mentor Program begins in January and lasts through winter and spring quarters. At the end of the quarters, mentors and students can decide whether or not they would like to continue the relationship. To enroll in the program, all mentors and students must complete an application that identifies their education, career paths or goals, and professional background. For an application, please see below or contact Patricia DeVoe at pdevoe@uci.edu or (949) 824-1278.
